Information You Provide
Guide signup collects your name, email address, password and business details. Passwords are stored as hashes. Your signup email initially becomes your listing contact email; review it in your profile before publication. Published business information, uploaded photos and fishing reports are intended to be public.
Trip inquiries collect your name, email, optional phone number, preferred date and message. They are stored by BassGuide, available to the guide through their account, and included in an email notification to the selected guide when email sending succeeds. Contact requests are emailed to the site administrator. Do not include payment details or sensitive personal information in either form.
Accounts and Security
The site uses session cookies for login, security tokens and temporary messages. It also processes IP addresses for request limiting and stores a hashed IP identifier with trip inquiries. Account verification links use temporary tokens. Profile view and inquiry counts help show listing activity.
Service Providers and Other Websites
Hosting and email services process information needed to operate the site. Bootstrap assets load from jsDelivr, which receives ordinary browser connection information. Links to guide websites take you to independent services with their own privacy practices.
Your Information
Signed-in guides can edit their profile details. To request access to, correction of or deletion of information held by BassGuide, contact the site administrator. Identify the relevant account or inquiry without sending your password. Some records may need to be retained for security, disputes or legal obligations.
